It’s frustrating/distressing/heartbreaking that Jack excuses Owen’s behavior for the sake of his reform and does not, at least, play Owen’s therapist, if not confidant.

Owen is fabulous (in the second season anyways) and Jack should have treated him A LOT better.
As a side note, while I appreciate Owen (who isn't, in my mind anyways, a real doctor) I still won't want him to rape me. Just so you know.
Also, Ianto is fabulous. And Jack is a bastard to him. But whatever. I still love them both. (And Ianto can rape me and I would keep the child... just so you know.)
