Download: Forest Edge Camp

Two acres of healthy green grass and a sprinkling of trees and shrubbery were all that occupied this old parcel until just last week when the mysterious migrant showfolk pitched their camp here amongst the autumnal foliage.

Ha, long time no see! My last Magic Town lot was exactly three months ago. (someone should slap me xD) But no worries, I haven't forgotten the project. Consider this as an early christmas present. I have to warn you though that my graphic card got funky and some colours are blurry (you'll see this in the inside of the buildings). It also totally turned out that I had accidentally ran sims 2 on the battery. Laptop obviously didn't like that.

Forest Edge Camp looks really dreamy and is full of green stuff - also, there seemed to be two seasons mixed up, summer and autumn. I always thought of it as a place where people could relax and that's exactly what I had in mind when I built this lot. I had to replace quite a few things since there were a lot of cute stalls and caravans which we obviously and sadly don't have in the Sims 2.

The overviews and a little wip/planning picture . It's built on a 3x3 lot this time and because it has a gypsy / fairy garden feel, I abused the trees and flowers even more than usual.

The main building. As you can see, I took this pic in build mode, which was not my intention. Also, ignore big grey thing in the background.

In the inside, you find nothing more than a clothing shop and a familiar painting of a familiar woman. Originally you could buy here groceries, but who buys groceries nowadays? /shot

On the roof is a small terrace where the customers can play chess and enjoy the view. The lights float just a little, but that doesn't matter. It's magic town after all.

Nearby the shop there's the option to relax your body.

And somewhere further, in the corner the offer to ease your soul. We have herbal tea and gardening! There's are a few fruit trees available, as well as an empty patch, waiting to be filled with seeds (however, would that work, just like in Sims 3? I've no idea).

A place to eat...

A place to sit...

And a place to drink.

Another wishing well (but only because it was there in the original Edge Camp too) and a bubble blower.

Toilets.

(And here's where I plug in the cable because the beige of the toilets was amazingly blurry. XD)

And what was in the middle? A lovely not so little Zen garden.

My test sim surely loves the massage table. This was the first want that popped up as soon as she entered the lot. xD

I.. have no idea what happened with Mrs. Crumplebottom's face. I'm googling it right now.

And finally, the download! Built on 3x3, probably all EPs & SPs needed, no CC.
