I disagree, while the UI is nice, I can;t say I am blown away. Way too much hype and mouth foam for way too little. зто так много для Атоса и так мало для Графа де ла Фера.

Whoa, this was a while ago. The last time we had this conversation you produced some examples that would not pass the simple rationality test of "why would you ever want to do something this way?" .

Drag-and-drop UI has its issues, some due to modal windows, but the biggest one would probably be picking a destination window. Expose is an ok solution, though perhaps not perfect.

What I really liked about the OS X, though, was consistency. Drag a folder into a File Open dialog, and you'll have that folder in every application. Other things along those lines, which at this point I can't even remember.

There are some annoyances, though. One that drives me particularly crazy is drag-and-drop going wrong. Every once in a while I do something and all I see is a little puff of smoke while an item disappears. No way to undo or even figure out what it was you did.
