Hmm. So counting on you ruling the world and entrusting me with a small piece of your domain makes me a poor-minded person?

Well, I am 32 and I haven't even started raising an army yet, yea, I think so. I am hoping that clinical immortality will take care of the age issue, but realistically I am still 20 years off from the first real steps towards world domination.

I find in interesting that the article shifted from talking about 'poor' and 'rich' people to 'poor minded' and rich minded' people.

As someone who has nearly always been poor, my spending habits are closer to a rich person. I am just not replacing socks because I finally have enough money saved up for 1 extra months rent and a sucky car repair. But will I ever be rich? uh, no.

But it draws up how disturbing class perception in this country is. More inclined to understand that there are crooked rich people, but most 'just want to give'. What about the poor people that have been screwed by wrongful convictions, injury and subsequent screwing by workplace or gov'nt, evil nasty divorce and so on? Where is their voice in this article? No, poor are just poor because they are so consumer driven and uneducated they live paycheck to paycheck. "Poor people make it a game of seeing how big and flashy they can live on their modest income." Yep, thats me.

WOOT~! I"m rich minded! Gonna go blow 20$ at JC Pennys!

I have never had any money growing up, and until recently I never really had anything in savings. I currnetly only have about a month's expenses in cash, the rest of my savings is in a 401k.

The article was maybe 1,000 words, there is no way that a 1,000 words can be all incompassing and inclusive. But there are some patterens of though that lead to people being comfortable, wealth or poor. It is food for thought and debate.

Nah, sorry, but in 1000 words they managed to essentially say poor people are lazy loosers, have always been and will always be, while rich people are awesome well adjusted, with a great work ethic and great in every way! They learn from their mistakes, they don't look at the past- they just look fwd from the present! Blah blah.

Reading it over again, I'm reminded of that health teacher at DGN. little ms. PMA and everything will be *big shiny smile* GREAT!

I will agree with one thing the article hits at. Wealth seems to be caused by action. Lots of it. And thought, and learning. But being 'wealthy minded' is not enough to pull it off.

Oh.. well.. according to this guy I guess I'm poor.

But then again - I live in a house which I own (fee simple complete, no morgatge, no loans), I have all the spending cash I need.. and I rarely think about investing anymore.

hmmm...

Yeah, this guy is self-congratulating. The world is a shitty place, and bith matters alot more than work.
