  • I've been working on lots of stuff, which might be interesting one day, but isn't while it remains unfinished.
  • I've finished reading Weaveworld by Clive Barker. It's good. I've been meaning to read some Barker for years and now I will have to look up more of his stuff. Onto some sci-fi now, courtesy of the late Mr. C. Clarke.

When I watched this on the news yesterday, I was just waiting for them to open up the box, and reveal a confused, naked old man with a long beard, who spends the long periods at sea playing an accordian in the dark, pissing in a bucket and recording a video journal of stories he's made up where his toes are the characters. When they let him out for 24 hours at each port, he has to go into town and collect a teddy bear with the flag of the country he's visiting... it would hardly make the story any weirder.
