It was ninety pounds - (hopefully) a bit less than most of the places around Camden or the West end. I actually chose that studio because my flatmate's friend has used it before, and has since moved into the flat above it! I'm not sure I really wanted bad death metal playing through the ceiling while I was having it done, but the people were friendly and seemed to know their stuff.

Cheers matey! I suppose I did the right thing photographing it when I did: as the natural healing process is beginning to kick in, the area's now looking a bit less photogenic! Hopefully this will only be for a couple of days...

Thanks! Well you know, it has serpents, wings, a sort of metallic thing... What else could I have wanted? I can see how these things might become addictive though - quite worrying.

it is indeed fab. the colours are excellent.

and yes, it is incredibly addictive. and the worst pain is just a sunburny tingle, it's not like piercings, which tend to hack one off after 6 weeks of hurting.

yum yum, i look forward to seeing it in the flesh, so to speak.

(sigh) Yeah, I really ought to get out a bit more... I'm giving some thought to Slimelight this Saturday, girlfriend permitting. I've not been for so long, it would be nice to catch up with people and remember they exist outside of my computer!

Cheers! I sometimes wonder if it should have been quite so far up my arm... perhaps subconsciously I was worried about my parents seeing it and going mental, which, as I'm twenty-five, is a bit pathetic! Well never mind, I love the design and am so glad I've got it. Everyone should have these things, they ARE big and clever.

v. impressive tattoo you have there - Glad to hear is healing well. I really ought to get round to getting mine done sometime but am a bit of a girlie coward....(and yes I'm scared of what my mum would say about it and I'm nearly thirty!)

It's not that bad an experience really - it depends on where on your body you get the tattoo, but if I could survive one and a half hours in the chair without needing a break or my emergency fruit pastilles, then I'm sure that means it's bearable!
