Sometimes, usually when I'm walking along a long, straight corridor, I find myself getting a strange, irrational worry in my head that the Earth's gravity might suddenly shift ninety degrees for no particular reason, and I'll plummet to my certain death against the far wall ( Read more... )

Yes Howard, I have to admit it is a worry! I also worry about getting flattened by elephants that might just happen to fall out of the sky onto the exact spot that I happen to be in!

That's not strange. Floating away into space would be pretty cool and reasonably painless.

Crashing into a wall at the end of a long corridor at high speed would hurt. Lots. No matter what angle you collided with it at. I'd rather float away...
