Sorry Dave, I've spent the last fifteen minutes trying to view that link ,and it keeps telling me I have to log in. Evidently I don't have a log-in for their site, so I've been trying to find a "yes, I'd like to sign up for reading your paper, here are my details" page, but so far... nothing. Either I'm being incredibly thick, or their website is very badly designed. Or it may be related to that fact I've just come in from the pub, but probably not.

What familiar faces am I missing?

Oh, umm, yeah, when are we going to meet up tomorrow, by the way? Nine in the Dev sound okay to you?

Poo! Yesterday you could get to that article no problem without having to enter a password! Anyway as to the identity of one of it's stars, think PVC and a tiara! Anyway, will be at the dev arms for 9ish. By the wonders of other people's live journals I've found out that that there's some stag/hen do going on at Inferno involving a lot of the regulars from The Pit in Hounslow. In light of recent events, should be an interesting evening for me...

i have to go to someone's birthday drinks, but i think they'll probably go on to a posh meal which i won't be able to afford... so might potentially come along to Inferno afterwards depending on how i'm feeling.

Super stuff! I'm aiming to be at the Dev by nine-ish tonight. :)

Ear candling is a medically dubious New Age treatment, intended to remove toxins from your body and clear the various tubes inside your head. My mother suggested it to help with my sinuses... dunno if it worked but - despite makign sure the non-burning end was inserted - they made me look like a total chump for half an hour.

I could have waited until this evening to tell you that, but I haven't yet worked out how to link Wikipedia articles to spoken words...
