do you keep your train ticket in the same place as some kind of work pass? i've heard they can sometimes interfere.

i was tidying up my 'to-read' book pile a couple of days ago, and was a bit surprised to find "How to Win Friends..." in there!

i'm interested to hear the outcome of your Paul McKenna experiment

Well I'm hoping now that the problems with my ticket were the result of a rather bizarre type-o, but there could be other factors. I do carry an electronic pass for the office, but not usually in the same pocket. Another theory is people with microwave guns, camped out on top of tall buildings, who irradiate me from a distance while I'm innocently walking the street. Bastards. They're always getting me.

I'll lend you How to Win Friends... if you like. To be honest, it wasn't quite what I expected; it's more of a manual on how to deal with customers/business partners than anything you would actually use socially. Although it's still a good read. As for Paul McKenna's book and CD; just so long as he's not programming me into a serial killer or religious cultist, or anything like that, then it promises to be a good little experiment!
