This is probably frivolous as hell, but I'm coming to the end of my second book now, and preparing for my third. Maybe even my fourth, depending on how scheduling works out. And I'm feeling kind of left out on this side of the pond given what week it is

I say go for it! Whenever I freelance or do consultancy I use about half the dosh to pay my debts and the rest on something frivolous!
