Lingering Gardens and last day in Suzhou - Suzhou, China - April 2nd, 2012

One the final day Randy and I would catch the Lingering Gardens. These gardens are quite lovely and smaller compared to some of the other ones we had been too. One of the great things about this garden though was the music (Suzhou Opera and storytelling that happened each hour), women dressed as noblewomen doing historical reenactments ( Read more... )

The reason I've got so far is most people don't tend to do things on that day so it's more practical than anything else. Sunday and Saturday are still huge shopping days so Monday is the rest period due to most people having long work and school days.
