Looking at the journals of various LJ friends, I suddenly became very sad. Many of them haven't had any sort of entry since 2006 or earlier. Really, this shouldn't make me sad in and of itself; people are still alive and doing things, they just aren't taking the time to write about them in excruciating detail. Still, I can't help but feel both this

I also want you to come home from Bed Bath and Beyond, but then not go to Weird Wednesday because you were kept late at work so instead we go to the grocery to get junk food and a huge monster truck materializes out of no where and starts following us and we freak out and then we go back home and eat the junk food we bought and and watch episodes of South Park and Inuyasha.
