You hit this note perfectly. I have had this same internal conversation about my husband and myself. I love this story. So much in fact that the next time my step mom ask why didn't I marry a rich=man I will show her this.

As much as I like the stories we they're all famous and have such a perfect life, I really love the quiet melancholy of this piece...
It reminds me of a quote from Everwood: There are no certainties where dreams are concerned. Some are achieved, but just as many sputter and die. When they do, it's tempting to wonder why you ever dreamed at all.
But at least Kurt has Blaine at his side and he's definitely worth it.

Hm, I agree with you and the quote. I really wanted to cover a different and even depressing but realistic perspective through Kurt and Blaine's relationship wherein their dreams may not be reached, but perhaps love can prevail and at least they still have each other (just like after regionals).
