if i had miku and rin already, i'd definitely get her. but since i lack a full set already (with no hopes of getting my hands on miku OR rin for a reasonable price) i'll probably pass, even if nendoroids are so tempting. she's really cute regardless.

and i will once again say that i am tired of seeing so many miku figures. at least luka is getting something else, but come on now.

Amen to this. I don't dislike Miku, but it's getting kind of boring seeing her given so many incarnations whilst other characters who'd lend themselves well to figures/scale models are ignored.

Actually, I found my Rin and Ren for 5000yen each on Mandarake's English web shop a couple of weeks ago. I've also gotten Kaito from there. I live pretty close to Japan though, so I'm not sure how bad the shipping would be for someone further away.

I'll definitely be buying Meiko. I'm glad she has the newer type of stand since I find the old/non-arms ones tend to suffer from balance issues. I wish they'd diversify a little bit more though, and stop making these endless different versions of Miku.

It'd be nice to see Haku, Gumi and Gakupo nendoroids instead :/ I suppose as long as she continues to be a big seller they'll continue to focus on her.

As long as she isn't the magnetic type like BGS was, I'm okay with it (I can see why they used it, but I find her hard to pose), but just for my own display purposes I don't like the stand, haha.

I noticed in the figure community Miku's more of a hit so I can't forsee this ever changing tbh as sad as it is to say, lol. I mean look at the Support Ver. Mikus. I mean no doubt it's for a good cause, but still.

I'm hoping GSC will consider branching out more if Meiko sells... then again GSC just likes to milk the cash cow characters, anyway. :p

Ore no Imouto style Miku?

the guy who did the original oreimo manga is also a vocaloid P who illustrates the backgrounds for his own songs. he also does miku art for others (e.g. heartsnative)
