I'm sorry but I really don't like your boss. She sounds like a horrible person to work for.

She is. She responded with this answer "If there is work to be done, then I don't mind you coming in early, I am always flexible. It's just very early and I won't be here so I wanted to make sure you had work to do."
You know, she doesn't stand over me or ask me to do anything but pack up boxes, so what's the big deal. We are very independent here anyway. I don't rely on her for work so I don't understand her answer.
And you're right, she's probably the worst person to work for. That's why it'll be so easy to be able to say I am not coming back after the baby's born.
