Why is that I keep reading angst today?

Wonderful chapter, as usual. I really liked that Veronica is hiding from more than just Keith at this point, but it still hurts that she can't open up to Logan about what she wants.

The developments in the Keith case are really starting to freak me out, but I know that it's going to be alright in the end.

It makes me giggle that there's a CC reference, if only because some of you were there.

I don't think I have anything else left to say.

Actually the Cliff story came to me while I was at CC and a Xena walked by and I thought, "Boy, Cliff would love that outfit!" And, voila!

Rindee and I are glad you liked it. I hope you find something cheerful to read.

I'll try to find something happier to read, or I'll write something of my own. That should help.

And the best part about writing your own? Everyone does what you want them to do. Mostly. I just hate it when a character hijacks a story, but otherwise it is pretty gratifying to be in charge.

Heh. I liked the Comic-con scenes. It made for some great comic relief. Veronica is truly an idiot for going to see Campbell on her own and now she's probably in major trouble for it. Another great installment!

Mastermia is responsible for all the comic goodness of the Comic Con - I loved it too. Yes, Veronica is headstrong and impulsive, but it's that why we love her so? If she stayed out of trouble too long, things would get boring, although Keith and Logan might appreciate it. Thanks for reading - I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

Ya think? I tried as hard as I could to get them into bed in this chapter, but, alas, no cigar.

I loved this and I knew I would. I loved all the ComiCon goodness and Cliff and Loretta (sad not to see Norris but I guess he's off happy with one of the cute, scantily clad girlies). I also really liked the bits with tracking down the hitman and the interrogation. I love when V tries to be cool but... she's affected by things. I love seeing that, and you played it wonderfully here.

And, of course, I loved Dick and his "hit it then quit it."

Thanks so much; I'm glad we lived up to the high standard set by the community. Of course, Mastermia is the source of all the Comic Con goodness. Honestly, before VM, I'd never even heard of Comic Con, but she did a wonderful job. I'm thrilled you liked the tracking and interrogation - I love it when someone notices the details. As for Dick, he kind of just elbowed his way in, and I couldn't get rid of him. *chuckles* Dick is just Dick.

OMG, your Loretta "voice" was SO SPOT ON. I know we've only seen her ONCE in the entire two seasons of canon, but you had crunk prostitute DOWN.
