Hai!

I've been assimilated into A Song Of Ice And Fire. I really don't regret it.

This series is...DAMN.

I spent the last couple of months watching the first three seasons and reading the first book in the series. All I can say is Winter Is Coming. And it's gonna suck big time.

P.S. I just finished Book 5 in March. It's been a long haul: I finished Book the Oneth in 2001. Needless to say, I am often gobsmacked by some of the developments on HBO. I retained the general shape of events but some of the details got murky, even real important details that you'd think I'd retain.

I do love this show. We are caught up on the show, but I wanted more and wolfiekins told me they are books too. As I've not much time for reading ( and Lj which everyone knows - cough ) I got the book on cd's and listened to the first book while working. What a long book, lol. I am on the waiting list for the second, I wish the listener would hurry and bring it back. Oi.
