i had no problem at all when i brought in my canon + speedlite to the patrick wolf show. bouncers don't check bags. and at the venue, there are already photogs snapping away, you just blend in.

nope, just a mass of people you have to get past. at pwolf, the fanboys were like "oh heeeeellllll no you ain't comin between me and patrick" so i suggest you get there as early as possible?

okay. we're not planning to get there early (and I need to stay at work as long as I can since I'm disappearing for 4 hours this afternoon) so I may just leave the camera at work. they're playing Studio B tomorrow night so if I don't shoot tonight, it's not the end of the world.

This is me being jealous because you've seen Neko with the Pornographers. She wasn't with them the only time I've seen them, and it was a little bit sad. Y'know, still good, but NEKO. Fabulous.

Oh, and also the jealousy over the having already seen OotP. Y'all win! :D I'm glad you're flailing over it though... is it good flailing?

hehe, sorry? the last month has had a fair amount of awesomeness.

the movie, we're not really supposed to talk about until the 11th, but I liked it a lot. it's definitely much too close to the book though -- I think it's my favorite movie of the five, but I'm not as excited as I feel like I should be. but yeah. awesomeness, and thank god for the new screenwriter. :-p

I liked it a lot! I'm mostly really happy with the way they adapted it, and it was pretty, and the kids can friggin' act! I cannot wait to see the battle in 3D. I'm flailing less than I thought I'd be 'cause I'm wound up over other things, but yeah. YAY!!!
