things that are new:

* I am apparently running a half-marathon in 18 months. I'm still rather entertained by the whole idea of it, but I figured that if praetorianguard is crazy enough to want to coordinate it (at wdw_marathon, in case you care), the least I can do is join in. and sure enough, I ran a bit this week, and I actually kinda liked it. o_O ( Read more... )

ooh, nice. I've read a couple other articles on halfs that seem in the same vein as that one. of course I've got a long way to go before I start any of that stuff, but there's plenty of time.

I did, I went window-shopping (inside the store, ha!) yesterday and it was the only dress I found myself seriously considering... I LOVE the cut, but I wasn't too sure about the pattern. There are a few others on the site I might rather have, but that was the one in the store I liked the most.

I hit up Forever 21 and H&M as well, and I'm sorry to say that H&M sucks these days. Way too expensive. Not that Anthropologie hasn't always been way too expensive, but H&M was supposed to stay cheap. Bah.

aw, I love the pattern. I sorta wish it was lower in the back, but only because it would be easier to find the right size. (stupid boobs.) there's some really nice stuff on the site, but I guess the NYC buyer is hatin' on us.

dresses are too expensive in general! I can't really justify $170 for a dress I'll only wear a couple times -- they're a no-go for work since there's no place to stick my phone. I barely even glanced in H&M because it looked like a madhouse. but everywhere else was either ugly, boring, or way too expensive. whine.
