I think I mentioned that I had one last picture-with-the-band to post from last Wednesday? this is it, and I'm not cutting it and you'll just have to live. after the gig, after the badassery, I asked Nick for a picture to commemorate the occasion and he dragged me over to Alex and:

it's pretty great, right? sorta thinking about printing it out to hang up at work, except that I'd have to explain it to people all the time.

I'm not sure about Saturday -- I have a bday to go to at some point and my cousin and her husband are in town. whatchoo up to?

well during the day is free RPG day, then a free show at 4-8 in BK, Mc Chris and Mc Frountalot. going with byron, but after we were thinking of doing sushi the all you can eat kind.

definitely keep me posted, especially on the sushi ;) though I probably won't be able to make a great showing. the birthday is at BBQ so I'll be full of tempura (and probably also liquor).

That picture pretty much rules all. A sandwich between Nick and Alex seems like a happy place to be. :D

What I love about the vla-on-franz sandwich photo is the body language. They're both leaning in to you, very comfortable to be very close to you. And then--hyperventillating here--Nick's left hand on your shoulder, all full-contact looking. As for the look on Alex' face, again, if he didn't feel comfy, he'd have used his "picture face", the one little kids use when they are posing. Same thing with Nick. IIRC, Nick dragged Alex into the photo, another sweet gesture. Yes, I see ALL!
