I'm skipping the GoF midnight show that everyone else in the world is going to. I worked 13.5 hours yesterday and was told tonight by three or four different people to "just go home already." Turns out that "going home" involves dropping $140 at BB&B for these sheets (they're so silky and just... not crappy Kmart sheets for once!), a pair of Read more... )

that purpley one. I have another set that's sheer gold in between the purple ones, so that I still get some light.

Oh god, I fucking love Pure Beech sheets. I bought some of the jersey knit modal sheets for my bed and after bringing them home immediately wrapped my naked body in them and rolled around for awhile. They are soooo soft and comfy.

This is wacked! I too was in BB&B around 7:30 p.m. yesterday, hemming and hawing over whether to get the SAME sheets, or this aMAzing showerhead:

Showerhead won, for now. It squirts oxygenated, pressurized water at you, and is also a handheld. I found some lovely pale apricot jersey knit sheets at Big Lots, of all places. I also bought some gorgeous "professional quality" red wine glasses at Marshall's. So when you come upstate, you will be greeted by red wine in a beauteous glass, pretty sheets, and an energizing shower. I'll get cheese, and you can use your Leatherman to cut it.

not to sound rude, but how much was your leatherman? it won't show me the price and i've been eyeing that little nifty gadget for sometime. as a theatre tech, you can't have enough tools.
