Oh, I'm so happy the Sigur Rós show was fantastic. I've read many show reviews of them from several people of my flist, and it always seems that people always get... mesmerized by their performance. This is a very good thing. :)
Secondly, your artistic angst = me everyday. I wish I was exaggerating, and I wish I'd actually do something about it.
Draw. doesn't matter what, patterns, type, people, architecture or what, but drawing is the most immediate, the most instant gratification-y sort of art. Frustrating, too, but at least there's no wait between idea and making something of it.
