The first two days of the
line have been a smashing success, I'd say. It rained on and off all day yesterday, but owing to our five canopies (compared to the one little 8'x8' tent and, eventually, a lean-to we had in '02), we stayed remarkably dry, warm, and happy. where'd it say that, about the waiver? we (and by 'we', I mean Jon O:)) thought we'd fixed all those mentions. anyway, you can bring your waiver on Friday. at this point it's easier than mailing it for everybody involved.

And, for a stupid question: if I just want to start dropping by because I'm having fun... can I do that?

you can totally drop by, and if you coordinate it with the shift schedule you can earn extra points and get a better choice of seating when we go into the theatre. That's what I did in 2002 - I signed up for the minimum (or close to it, anyway) but came for tons of other shifts. Geeking out is fun to the max, especially in the middle of the night.
