If it was a serious movie? Probably to do something about the light penalties associated with animal cruelty.

Funny/cynical? Probably to do with the gross commercializing and negative PC of Christmas time.

If someone accepted you for the way you are but doesn't define you by your "labels" (you're not introduced as My Pagan Friend to new people) do you get pissed off as their open-mindedness?

Not at all. In fact, I really don't label myself since I don't really fit into one specific label. "My friend" is good enough for me. =)
