Dual Minds (B5, J/D, rated G, gapfiller)

This is a re-write of an old story, one where I truly loved the idea behind it, but was less than thrilled with the execution. I seldom re-visit stories, but I didn't feel I did this one justice, and since we are coming up on War Without End in the B5 re-watch, it seemed time. Thank you. Did you know the Lord Chancellor of England was the Keeper of the King's Conscience? And Steven Brust has an office of Discreet, a person who hears the King's secret thoughts. Of course there's Hamlet...sorry, I'm in love with that phrase right now.

This was familiar as I read it, but the ending wasn't - I LOVE it! Especially that last line - that was amazing.

Now on to read the next 3 parts ...
