♥ Laze around in bed, betaing. ♥ Laze around in bed, watching Hamlet on iPlayer. (Also, d'awwww, doesn't Hamlet look loopy in the iPlayer opening screen? *pets DT*)
OMG TIMOTHY DALTON AS A TIMELORD. THAT IS JUST EPIC AND AWESOME AND AAAAAAHHH.
Ahem. :D And yeah, I think the Master race was pretty silly, but I like that in DW - if it takes itself too seriously/is completely sensible, then it's not half as interesting. :D ♥
I got too much chocolate. I am now immensely fat. :D Tis a good thing.
:( Don't be sad, bb. *epic, epic hugs* You don't have to finish Xmas presents if you can't - it's art, it's not like you're just going out and buying things. *more epicly epic hugs* ILU, MMKAY? ♥♥
(not to mention that it's kind of hot) Hmm, not so much for me. I was digging John Simm's hair, though. He looks good as an emo blond. :D
Narniaaaaaaaaaaaa! I have so much love for Narnia... *dances* And chocolate is always a good thing. :D *hugs*
Oh, bb. Don't stress it. Trust me, mijan's not going to judge you or anything - she'll be happy to receive art for her fic at all, even if it is for the same scene that someone else has illustrated. And your art? Will be awesome. Guaranteed, mmkay?
it took ages but I finally downloaded hamlet from iplayer for the second watching tonight :D it's epic.
I always get nutty-lindt chocolate from family that I can't eat due to allergies, though I think it's a conspiracy as then they get to eat it *facepalm*
david was everywhere this week (it ruled) they showed the sarah jane ep with him in, and buzzcocks, and the catherine tate thingy, and qi and of course who :D awesooome.
It is epic - and I love how sometimes you can see glimpse of the Doctor in Tennant's Hamlet. My parents criticised it, but I quite liked it. :D
Oh, Liiiiiiiiiiiiindt. I. Adore. Lindt. So much. :D We got Lindt, too, except my brother ate it all. I was not impressed. (There was smacking.)
I swear, in QI, was he wearing a velvet jacket or something? :D It was AWESOME. I want one... Also, it was my first time watching Buzzcocks (yeah, totally just watched because DT was in it :D), and is it bad that Noel Fielding really got on my nerves? :/ ♥
especially when hamlet's going all out insane (lol which shows how much of the doctor is insanity) best friend is biggest shakespeare critic I know and he loved it so I'm content ;)
naturally!
he was wearing a velvet suit! :D ah I never used to like noel but I've warmed to him hehe, so I don't think you're strange for not liking him. catherine was hilariously bad!
I have an odd affinity for the loopy-scene where Hamlet and Horatio (totally just nearly typed "the Doctor" instead of "Hamlet" - *epic facepalm*) are being all crazy-like with the recorders. And the wonky crown! D'you think we should be worried that DT does insane so well? :D
Yeah, but Catherine was so bad she was good. In a funny way. :D Anyway, it's Catherine Tate. No criticism will ever hold. :D ♥
you know what, don't even answer that, lol. can you melt your brain by od-ing on onion rings, cadbury mmmmmmmmmm and roasties? ... 'cause i think i might have destroyed quite a few brain cells in the last few days. i've just spent the last few mins thinking about the donmar's hamlet and then gave myself a good mental slap... i cocking hate jude law. bad red, bad.
I really did! I love 'em... (Mum said that she got me more presents than she would normally in case I didn't get into Oxford - so, this way, I win every way!)
:/ Does that mean that you didn't like Doctor Who? I think it was fun, really. Maybe not the most serious/the best (and a little self-indulgent), but I did enjoy it.
Yeah, it was OK. I think maybe all the hype didn't do it any favours. It just seemed really weird, and not in the usual good way. Like it was trying too hard to be epic but failing to explain all these things that were suddenly happening. I'm looking forward to the final episode though, maybe there'll be some explanation there.
*grins* it was so cute when Tess was talking about getting a wedding dress xD
Hmm, I know what you mean about the hype, I guess. I think I was just so tickled by Wilf's network of OAPs searching out the Doctor that the rest of it I was just grinning through - and the cactus people! Gotta love the cactus people... Idk. And yeah, I think the final episode should be pretty good - and that one'd better be spectacular. :D
Awww, they're so cute... I do feel a bit sorry for them, though (slightly hypocritically). I mean, it can't be easy starting out a relationship with someone when you've got all that media attention focused on you, complete with jokes from Tess and Brucie (a.k.a. the dirty old man who everyone loves :D). ♥

I don't know anything about Branagh's Hamlet, but his Benedick (Much Ado About Nothing) was amazing. :D

I don't even know what to say about Doctor Who. Except that it was weird. And odd. And strange. And awkward. Adjectives are all I can come up with :/
Strictly was a fix *grins* I thought of you!
