They've been talking about closing the Salvation Army shelter in my city too, because it's "too close to the new stadium." It really makes me sick, the way people treat those that they consider to be less than themselves.

That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Oh NO- homeless people... exist? In urban areas? No way.

It makes me as mad as the Washington DC Catholic diocese threatening to close down ALL of its church sponsored homeless shelters when (if) the district legalizes gay marriage.

Yep, that's totally the Christian thing to do.
