Am reading the updates on the earthquake in Christchurch, NZ and the uprising in Libya. Is it just me, or are there more natural disasters now? And I know the Middle East is always a powder keg, but it does seem more explosive than ever. I wonder if this is truly more unrest and distruction than before, or if it's just that with the internet, ( Read more... )

On the bright side, someone just put out a list of the top 10 places in the world to live, and at least 5 of them were in Australia/NZ. So despite the natural disasters, still a good place to be :)
