One of the reasons I haven't really updated my journal lately is because I've been feeling pretty overwhelmed by life lately. It's silly, because this is a great outlet for frustrations, but I haven't felt up to using it. I'm going to try to be better about that

She is doing really well. She and my dad came down last weekend, and then drove up to my brother's in Massachusetts this weekend which is like a 2000 mile drive. She gets tired more easily and her motor skills on one side are noticeably impaired, but she's keeping up with her physical therapy. I'm really proud of her. :)

You seem to be trying really hard to get things back on track so in my mind you are a success. Everybody has crap times but it's when you give up that life really grinds you down.

I just wish I could take my own advice.
