REMINDER: VividCon registration is this weekend!
Registration for VividCon 2012 will take place this weekend, at midnight Eastern Time in the U.S. (think New York City) between Saturday February 18 and Sunday February 19. See what time that is where you are.
VividCon 2012 itself will take place August 10-12 at the Spring Hill Suites by Marriott, 8101 W. Higgins Road, Chicago, IL 60631. For more information, visit our website, http://www.vividcon.com
The cost of an attending membership is $90 by Paypal, $85 by check, until July 1. After July 1, it will be $95 by Paypal and $90 by check. The cost of the optional pizza lunch on Saturday remains $20.50 by Paypal, $20 by check. The membership cap is 140 people.
As a reminder from previous years: if you cannot be at your computer when registration opens, consider asking someone to sign you up. Please make sure they have as much of your information as possible, including badge name, email address, and snail mail address.
Because we have filled up so quickly in past years, we are asking people not to send payment until you have received an email confirming your membership. Please note that the automatic email you get with your registration information only confirms that your registration information was submitted, not that you have officially secured a membership slot. Every attempt will be made to get confirmation out in a timely fashion, but waiting to pay until your membership is confirmed will avoid extra hassles.
As in previous years, payment will be due three weeks after your membership is confirmed. That means we need to have either a Paypal payment or a check in our hot little hands within three weeks of confirmation. Otherwise, you will be moved to the waitlist.
The registration form will be available on our website on the registration page. There will be an official announcement on the VividCon LJ & DW communities when registration opens.
