the birds in my backyard will be the death of me. they come from all parts of the world to partake in Toby's dogfood. when theyre done feasting they go tell theyre friends about the buffet in my backyard which in turn send letters to europe and asia to tell their aunts and uncles. if you look up in the sky and see a vee formation heading south

really sounds like you need to talk to Toby. When I was little, I used to have my friends come over and get snacks. Finally my mom said, "I'm not going to feed the whole neighborhood." I think maybe Toby doesn't understand that his little bird friends are costing you money.

Actually, you might wanna think about putting bird feeders on the fence or in the tree so they get there first. I know you just want them to go away, but they won't if there's food there. Orrr, I knew an old lady once who put those pie tins up in her tree. She said the birds didn't like reflective surfaces and this kept them out of her yard. But she used to feed ants, so I don't know.
