It's been a while since i've written in this journal. But I have alot to say, and i have a feeling this is going to be the most honest i've been in a while...
so here we go...

The way my school works is throughout your time here from freshman-senior year you direct 3 FILMS and 2 DIGITAL pieces, and once thats all wrapped up you work on your THESIS ( Read more... )

"the way the school decides what story to put up for thesis is kind of a competition of sorts. Theres 12 students in my class. each wrote a 12 page script over the last 2 months and once they were complete, the faculty votes for their favorite pieces to be shot. Today the decision of which scripts were chosen were released. In total 6 scripts were chosen. 2 Comedies and 4 Dramas(2 of which are period pieces)"

No where does it say that one of those 6 scripts are yours. and then you just start talking about your script and how you wouldn't be comfortable directing someone else's.

But.. Congrats!
