I loved this! ♥ I especially love the way you characterize Itachi! It's really interesting to see him in a vulnerable position, but you pulled it off perfectly and managed to keep him REALLY in character! *LOVES* And your Kisame was absolute love, too! I GIGGLED SO MUCH AT HIS LAST LINE TO ITACHI! XD You really brought out his lighthearted, playful side with that, and I love it SO much!

They just make him seem so human, right? Plus, I figured that the first part would be at least a little true. Even when he's like 13, he's wearing all this baggy and heavy clothing!! Maybe it's just an Uchiha thing? 'Cuz Sasuke does that a bit too....

Yes, I can totally see Itachi being self conscious, especially about body image and sexual things! Itachi might be a genius ninja, but he is still a teenager, too, and would've experienced the same things every other teenager experiences! I remember one really awesome story by skinst_bomb about Itachi having wet dreams and having to ask Kisame to explain it to him! XD Little reminders that Itachi is still human like that and the ones you added to this story make me SQUEE with joy!! ♥ It's no fun to love a perfect character, right? :) When they have flaws and weaknesses, they seem so much more real!

Ah, I remember that fic! It was so cute! :3 You're right too, I love it when people make Itachi more human, because I can bet that if Kishimoto-sama spent a little more time focusing on Itachi and Kisame, we'd find out that they are indeed human have weakness and flaws just like everyone else. Plus, if Itachi were perfect and everyone adored him, he'd be like a MarySue, only in guy form! (I think that's called a Stu).

Vulnerable Itachi is absolute love, but it's hard to do, adn you pulled it off SO WELL!!
