21-Thanks for the Unwanted Memories

May 19, 2009 13:51

When I was a kid and complained about being afraid of something in the closet or under the bed, my dad handed me a .45 and told me to take care of it. As usual every single bad thing around here can't be killed with bullets because it's all..."in your miiiiiiind". Yeah, well, I'm tired of waking up every day feeling like I live in a lunatic asylum ( Read more... )

hate it so much, boggarts suck, anger management problems, mansion sucks

Aren't you one of those loons that thinks they're a country?

It's been attempted. The mansion is very quick to recover.

But I agree, it can be very frustrating... Data Drain is feeling more and more useless to me every day.

And what does Data Drain do exactly? And I figured about the mansion recovering. Dammit.

Data Drain: it is a process that extracts and alters vital data of the targeted entity. It is usually used to remove or disable viral infections and repair damaged data.

I have been successful in performing Data Drain on parts of the mansion in the past. However, no substantial data has been obtained and the alterations are reversed shortly afterwards.

...The mirror replicas are not immune to it, though I still have not deciphered any of the data I obtained from that encounter.

That makes sense. That you can't make sense of it, I mean. I doubt the mansion would make anything that easy.

I don't think setting it on fire's gonna do much.

You never know. Just a thought.

Unless it's a magical blowtorch filled with hellfire, I've got the feeling that any attempt to destroy the mansion's structure would probably be fighting a losing battle.

Did you do okay with the... uh... with the boggart?

...After my room stopped setting itself on fire and exhuming mom's burning remains from the closet? Yeah...I did fine with the boggart.

....Stupid question.

Jesus Christ.

Sorry. I just wanted to know if there was permanent psychological damage that we needed to discuss. I didn't think it'd be... that.

After everything we've seen, what's a little more psychological trauma?

Normally, I wouldn't offer to help anyone burn a building down . . . but right now, the only reason I'm not offering is 'cause it would just build itself back up again.

Wow, I've never heard myself sound so angry! I'm really not that mad . . . just a little -

Oh. Hello, Koh. What brings you to Wonderland -?

Yeah. The impression I've gotten is that whatever damage we inflict on it just makes it stronger. This only adds to it's overall creepiness.

It's okay to get mad, Aang, just dont blow out a window again.
