Last night I had a bizarre and exceedingly disturbing dream in which my Bubby was dating a man in his mid-twenties with long, shaggy blonde hair named George who looked like a Calvin Klein model. It creeped me out to no end. Ugh ( Read more... )

Are you getting your boobs reduced??? Don't take off too much if you do! Men like them when they're big and beautiful apparantly.
I was thinking about what good movies you could rent, and some of the best ones have been old movies. I loved Whatever Happened To Baby Jane?, Mommie Dearest, and Death On The Nile. See if you can find any of them, they were fabulous!!!!!!

Ooh! Those recommendations are perfect, I've been renting TONS of old movies! Last week I rented Cabaret, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, and East of Eden, all of which were wonderful, as well as the first season of Rescue Me which was very enjoyable. Today I rented Pillow Talk, His Girl Friday, The Apartment, I Heart Huckabees (I know, not old), and Paris When It Sizzles. I only have watched Paris When It Sizzles, and it was kind of a dud. William Holden was superhot in the 50s, but in the 60s he's starting to get old. Have you seen all of the old Audrey Hepburn movies? I love Sabrian and Roman Holiday. Also, Sunset Boulevard is one of my favourite movies ever. On my next trip to Videoflicks I will rent the ones you suggested.

Also, Six Feet Under is GREAT right now!!! Is the finale next week?

Six Feet Under is finally getting good, I agree. The finale is on Sunday, can you believe it? I just HATED Quaker Maggie! And I thought it was totally unrealistic that Nate would sleep with her! I can't believe you like so many old movies!!!!! I am definately going to get some of those sometime! The only ones on that list I've seen are Pillow Talk and I Heart Huckabees. I didn't think Rescue Me looked very good. I am still working my way through The OC. But Audrey Hep. is my baby! I think my favorite movie of hers is Charade. Have you seen it?!??!?! It was remade into the Mark Walhberg non-hit The Truth About Charlie. But Charade is so good! If you like old thrillers. This summer I've been on a Hitchcock spree, and I've got so many of his sitting here waiting for me. But thanks for the suggestions! Not many our age are cool enough to appreciate William Holden!!!!!!!!!!
