Things that annoy me - short shorts
Allright, I think it's time to introduce variety to the journal. Those of you who know me, know that I am easily annoyed. A lot of things annoy me. Yet I haven't really written about them, and they are an important part of my personality. So let's commence.
First I'd like to kick off with an item that has been annoying me for years - namely men who wear short shorts, like the kind worn by the boyfriend in the movie Juno:
The reason I can't stand them is because you never know if you're about to see the guy's balls. It's just so rude, in my opinion, to make the whole world bear witness to "accidental" spillage of one's private parts. Very naive, Brittney Spears-like 'oops, I did it again, there go my balls". I think it's even worse than a guy going naked - at leat you know where things stand. Here it's the uncertainty that annoys me, the pretension of demure modesty bordering on exhibitionism. For what it's worth, I think the movie Juno made that point as well, they had a series of jokes about those short shorts.
Now, if a guy is wearing spandex shorts underneath I have no problem whatsoever. Regarding the shorts that are short but not loose, like below, I guess it's kinda gay but it doesn't really bother me that much.
