Turkish money is so cool. Not only because it's such a high yielder but also because of the actual physical note. How cool is this - they put a mathematician and some formula on the 10 Lira note.

they had very bright colors :) american tourists didn't like it - it made them think the money was fake :)

i have no fond memories of legacy currencies because i never spent enough time in any country to get used to it, so would be always somewhat confused about conversion.
