Africa is giving nothing to anyone -- apart from AIDS
Interesting question - is it morally right to sacrifice 1 million lives today in order to save 5 million lives of their unborn children tomorrow?

harsh but true
but why should it be all or nothing?
maybe some money that they spend on food can be spent on, i dont know, education? job creation?
i know that it is probably easier to sell "feed the children" charity than "lets educate the adults" but still... it s not all or nothing situation

i think it's a Malthusian question - there either is enough resources for a given chunk of land to support its people or there isn't. education doesn't change that.

education can change reproductive habits (reducing birth rates and aids spreading) and increase productivity
