For about the last month, instead of getting a job that would actually be profitable in some way, I've been devoting my afternoons to the creation of an online store, hosted by Cafepress.com. It's been giving me hell, as the upload process is incredibly difficult to understand and I've made many uploading/file-prepping mistakes, requiring hours of

The only thing I can think of is to consider finding some way to formally copyright your artwork... just in case. I have no idea how to do this, but if it's free, it can't hurt, right? :P

I LOVE the artwork, the fantasy stuff is beautiful, the randomness is absolutely... random (and hilarious), but I have to say that my unexpected favorite was the pet store--I'd really love to see a variety of different animals in there, someday, but even right now THE DOGS ARE SO CUTE OMG. Seriously. They are so adorable, I don't even have words to describe it. I loooooooooved them. :P

So, in a nutshell-GREAT JOB! I'm really impressed with your store, and I hope you're proud of it, too!

I actually had a question, though... does the messenger bag only come in yellow? Just curious. Because:

a.) I've been shopping around for a messenger bag for a while, now.
b.) Your designs are amazing.
c.) Yellow's not my faaaavorite color, but I like it anyway.

I don't know about formal copyrighting, but I do know that artwork is automatically copyrighted upon "publication" (being posted anywhere online counts), and were anyone to steal my art from Cafepress, they can be criminally prosecuted. I took a couple steps to try and prevent art theft (putting the "sample" watermark on the "view larger" image, for example) and I still have the original, full-sized .psd files, should I ever need to prove that they're mine.

And unfortunately, the messenger bag only comes in yellow. I was a bit miffed when I found that out (considering yellow is one of my least favorite colors).

And I know the feeling about wanting to switch internet aliases. I've been known as Bulma Melody for years, but I'm trying to fade out from that since it's not mine (Bulma from Dragonball Z and Melody from Pokemon) to something more original, Oshiro Akina (Last name Oshiro meaning castle and first name Akina meaning spring flower), something I can relate to myself more.
