Meanwhile, in Cambridge, Andrea Ferguson, husband Jason Sparks and their two children, Rebecca, 11, and Ryan, 13, are also in subsidized housing owned by the region.

Ferguson and Sparks -- on social assistance until they arrange education and career-upgrading courses at Conestoga College -- appreciate the programs available at the community centre across the street from their Rouse Avenue town home.

Ferguson wants to go to college and train as a social worker while Sparks, an unemployed machinist, plans to upgrade his education before taking a course in broadcasting. (????? since when? Not a lucrative job, believe me! Does some of his welfare $$$ got to you for child support at least?)

"Ferguson and Sparks pay about $156 monthly rent and, after all bills are paid, end up with about $800 in welfare and child benefit payments."WOW! I wish I could've found a place for $156.00 when I was working my ass off and only making $16,500.00 a year (GROSS, not NET) My rent even then (11 years ago) for a one bedroom apt. in Wingham of all ( ... )

obviously this reporter skipped those classes on fact checking

a) not Andrea's Husband, only been dating for 6 months or so

b) still married to actual estranged wife

c) not HIS children, those are hers, they're not even considered common law yet

d) he has $800 at the end of the month? interesting... where's the financial help for his biological son?
