I don't like poetry. or at least I don't get anything out of it. I discovered that in Lit, when we had to read a stupid story that was one gigantic mass of symbolism and stuff thats used a lot in poetry...and it was all deepermeaninglike like poetry is....and it just frustrated me...because I wasted all of this time trying to figure out what it ( Read more... )

Most poetry that I see people write is them trying to sound a certain way. If you want to enjoy it, read Falling Up.

i agree, for the most part.
i'm not a huge fan of poetry...even though some if it is really beautiful.

Most poetry just doesn't cut it for me. Though poetic lyrics are something else.

As far as deciphering goes, decipher this:

ugh Young Goodman, we read that in english and creative writing. why couldn't it just be a story about a man in the woods there aren't enough stories that are just about a man in the woods!
