My top 10 favourite scenes from BBC Merlin season 1
Its been a great season! I`ve really enjoyed this wonderful little show!
Colin Morgan and Bradley James are the best! :D
I`ve tried not to go only with Arthur/Merlin scenes but overall nice scenes from s1 . It was hard but I did it! lol
Before we begin the countdown let me mention some of the scenes that just missed the final cut ;)
Honourable Mentions:
- The final scene :

Excellent Uther and Morgana moment! Such a great and powerful scene!
-The Dragon creates Excalibur :

Loved this one! It was just so cool and impressive!
-Merlin saves Arthur from drowning :

One word - EPIC !!!!
-'The worst servant I`ve ever had' :

-Merlin says goodbye to Hunith :

This was just such a beautiful beautiful and inspiring scene!

10.Merlin looks out over Camelot :

This scene was just so special ! Colin is freaking adorable as usual and this just made me smile! :)
9. 'Its been an honour' Arthur/Merlin scene :

Wow how great was this scene!?? Now this is true love friendship! ;)
8. 'Tell me something interesting' Arthur/Merlin :

lol ! This was a nicely written scene! It was so sweet ! And Arthur`s little unscripted prank there made it even cuter!
7. The flower scene Arthur/Gwen :
(Episode 4 'The Poisoned Chalice')
This is one of my favourite eps of s1 ! This was a very nice and unexpected scene! Plus we get to see Arthur/Gwen working together to save Merlin.....awwww!
6.Merlin throws Excalibur into the lake :
(Episode 9 'Excalibur')
Another fabulous episode and scene! Loved how epic and significant it was . The moment where we see Excalibur at the bottom of the lake is amazing!
5. 'Gweniveeeeere' Arthur/Gwen :
(Episode 13 'Le Morte De Arthur')
This scene is at #5 only because Bradley pronounces 'Gwenivere' soooo well!!!! :D Great scene!!!!
4.Lancelot leaves Camelot :
(Episode 5 'Lancelot')
I loved how Lancelot`s departure affects everyone in these final moments of episode 5 ! Its so emotional but the fact that we know he will return makes it very inspiring! Also when are they going to release the rest of the music!!!!??? The Lancelot theme is so awesome here!
3.Merlin see`s Avalon :
(Episode 7 'The Gates of Avalon')
This scene was truly magical !!!!! I love how we get to see Merlin watch all the magic unfold here! So fascinating! Also the music is hypnotising! Very nice!
2.'Follow the light' Merlin/Arthur :
(Episode 4 'The Poisoned Chalice')
Aaahhh what can I say but that this was one of the 'it' moments!!!!! Wow! We really see the connection between them here! Love Love Love it!
1. 'I`m glad you`re here Merlin' Arthur/Merlin :
(Episode 11 'The Labyrinth of Gedref')
Okay slightly predictable but I just HAD TO have this at #1 !!!!
I don`t think an explanation is needed.......Just an incredible scene! I couldn`t stop squeeing when I heard that line! So genuine!
I *heart* Merlin and Arthur !!!!!
