I have been getting about a dozen spam things a day as well, it is starting to really piss me off & I may turn off autonomous as well -good idea. & whee yes MOAR STORMS YES PLS!

I hate them so! WHY DO THEY HAPPEN, UGH. I still get a few with actual usernames linking to porny cameras or something. I don't click the links, but they sound porny. :P I need to look and see if there's a way I can report those fake blogs to LJ.
