Title: Reasons Unknown, Part 3 Fandom: Heroes Pairing: Plaude Rating: PG13 Disclaimer: Not mine. At all. A/N: No smut in this, but there is kissing. And the next part? Will be Claude POV. So...yay.
Aww, this is adorable. Peter trying (not) to boss Claude into letting him take him to dinner, Claude not being able to keep from smiling and laughing even though he's probably pretty freaked out about Peter seeing him, and, of course, making out in a hotel corridor ;).
“I brought myself up here, okay?” he frowned, and didn’t move. “I’m eighteen, I can make my own decisions.“ Riiiight. Keep telling yourself that, Pete, all your life.
“Help me up.” Claude gave him a dubious look and Peter rolled his eyes. “I’m not going to do anything…” Hee, there's something insanely adorable and hilarious about the idea that Peter's.. endangering Claude's virtue or something.

Oh, those two. They really should just get married already;) Peter's just such a brat without realizing it, and Claude's just totally mystified by him.

Yeah...not so much, huh?
Hee, there's something insanely adorable and hilarious about the idea that Peter's.. endangering Claude's virtue or something.
Well, just imagine; Peter's all horizontal and willing and nubile. Someone's virtue is at stake, that's for sure.
Peter's just such a brat without realizing it, and Claude's just totally mystified by him. It's a match made in heaven.
not so much, huh? It's almost sad. Poor kid probably couldn't wait to get out on his own, and what happens when he does? He develops crazy powers he can't control and nearly destroys all of NYC.
Someone's virtue is at stake, that's for sure. I suppose so, but it's still precious, in a way. Poor bewildered Claude.
Or in smutty fanfic, which...I say is about the same.

Which only seems to prove what everyone else says about him: that he can't take care of himself and can't be on his own. It's very sad.

The poor dear has to deal with soo much. At least Peter didn't show up at his door wrapped in saran wrap.
Oooh I love that meeting, you've done a great job of managing to write it so you can see exactly what's going on with each of them. I like the idea of Claude walking around invisibly pre-betrayal as well, just for fun or because he was concentrating or for just any reason really that wasn't necessary.
“Because I like you,” he said before he had a chance to think about it.
Claude still wasn’t looking at him, but Peter saw him wince.
“You don’t know me, friend.” .
Ooh, self-dislike Claude. Love that last line, warning and pushing away but trying to keep a hold of him at the same time. Very Claude.

I'm so glad; I wavered on a lot of stuff, because there's so much that Peter has no idea about, but that Claude would be thinking about, and I wanted to be sure everyone at least got glimpses of that, even it is through Peter. Who is not the most reliable of observers, but there was are.

I like to think it's a reflex. Or maybe he's just avoiding his messages at the front desk ;)

There's always a bit of it, with Claude. Especially as he's very, very close to being disillusioned Company Man Claude.

He's really just completely mystified by Peter. But he sure is pretty...
