This is all so very sad. Now that Sandra's back to being unaware, I was kind of mournful about her only being motherly and not awesome. And aw, poor self-sacrificing Claude and his paranoia.

And of course no more threesomes...

I'm sorry :( And even Nathan seems to be sad about that, which I'm finding strangely affecting. Sandra is still awesome! Deep down inside, and when she gets the chance, all of that awesome will just burst out! Or so I tell myself.

That is the real tragedy, isn't it? ;) Thanks for reading!

Well, there we have it. Of course there couldn't be any other ending (though that epilogue sounds promising). Kind of lame of Noah and Claude to decide to end it without Sandra's input- I guess she ought to get used to that kind of treatment, considering.

Clearly the same couldn’t be said for Noah, who was looking more uncomfortable than he had even when tied to a chair.
*snort* He would rather be tied to a chair than dealing with stuff like this.

we found them an empath,” he shrugged. “One that’s natural, as far as we know.
As opposed to unnatural empaths? Intriguing...

Sure. Promising. And not sad in it's own way, not at all.

*snort* He would rather be tied to a chair than dealing with stuff like this.

Noah's got a lot of skills in some departments, but apparently dealing with the emotional aftermath of threesomes isn't one of them.

As opposed to unnatural empaths? Intriguing...

Well, Arthur's power was synthetic. So I'm guessing it's a fairly sought-after thing, having one that just so happens to be.

Thank you! Epilogue'll be up soon.

Oh. Well. This just made me terribly sad. I knew it was coming and then thoroughly ignored my own thoughts. Denial is a precious thing.

Still-- This has been an excellent story. I look forward to the epilogue.

I'm glad you liked it ;) Thanks for commenting and the epilogue will be up...soonish.
