Ahh, no! Dude, so, in this 'verse, Claude was ready to sacrifice himself for Noah, and Noah still betrays him later on? Cold. Anyway, Fusor's sister out for revenge! Didn't see that coming. Love Claude's little speech about his expendability- ha, as if the Company wouldn't be pissed to lose their only invisible agent. *crosses fingers that everybody somehow managed not to get shot next chapter*

Well, I think at one point, Noah probably would've done the same. Back when they were both loyal Company agents. Because that's what they're supposed to do. Of course, unluckily for Claude, once you break the code of...being a loyal Company agent, then you're in trouble.

Of course no one got shot. Whyever would I do that? *shifty eyes*.

Thanks for reading!

Ooh I don't know how I missed this part! GUUUUH! With the Claude, and the Bennet and the Claude, and the Bennet and and...
Yeah, I know I get terribly excited by even platonic versions of my ship. ;)

But seriously, excellent chapter. Very good tension and suspense, and as always the characters are spot on. *goes to read next part eagerly*

*snickers* Yes, the Bennet and the Claude. I kind of snuck that in there. I mean...it's completely platonic, what are you talking about?!?! Oh Claude, he just falls in love with everyone really.

Glad you liked it!

Tooooootally platonic, just as much as all the other characters in the series who *constantly* touch each other everywhere! ;)

Well I've always envisioned Claude as being starved for love, and therefore falling in love pretty much with anyone who managed to get close to him, even professionally.
... ... even Thompson??? *shudder*

Yup. The forehead touching is totally just a friend thing. They're not that kind of partners! Claude even said so!

I could see Claude developing a kind of fondness for Thompson (and that's not saying anything about my very personal pet theory about him and Ivan back when Claude was young and naive and newly recruited), just because he would spend a lot of time around him. I think Claude would have trouble forming attachments to people outside of the Company; all the secret keeping would get to him a bit. So his friends and lovers were all Company people. In my mind.
