So yes. I have a free, trial version of Photoshop and have decided that this means I must devote every free second of time I have, in between the cooking and the cleaning and the parent appeasing, to icon making. Hee. That one and the last one are my favorites. It really, really does ruin your life. I want to buy it, but I know that...I will never get anything done if I do.

Woo hoo! Icons, so cool. Love the shadowy looks. We're going to do some kind of icon challenge at dmv or reaperdmv, to promote Reaper's season premiere. So get ready!

Icons! Making them is addictive, isn't it? I adore 005 and 016. Love at first sight, indeed. Though perhaps not in the most conventional sense. ;) And I can just see Hiro thinking that at some point.

It really, really is. *laughs* Once I figure out how to animate icons, I'll probably do the "love at first sight" thing again ;) I'd forgotten how hilarious Hiro's face was at that moment.

I've got to learn how to do that, too. I haven't got Photoshop, but this other free program I got off the net that I'm sure has lots of capabilities that I'm not using. Hiro is so cute in that episode. He looks so totally crushed when he sees that it's not a real sword. Poor guy.

One day I'll figure it out. One day I'll also knuckle down and buy the darn thing and hopefully get a manual with it, which might help. I love his look of resignation when he's like "I'll go put it back now".
