We watched The Time Traveller's Wife. This movie was excellent; we both thought so. (However, Mom I don't think you would enjoy it.)

There is a small snake living in the vicinity of our back yard. (I observed it fleeing when mowing the lawn.) Just don't tell my three year old daughter.

Shouldn't you try to get rid of the snake - what if she sees it and tries to pick it up!

It was really good but you would find it so confusing. Don't say I didn't warn you.

There is no chance Violet would try to pick up the snake. For one thing it's going to be more scared of her than she of it... sort of like the cat. For another thing I'd have no idea how to get rid of a snake. Thirdly, snakes should get rid of actual pests like mice and bugs.
