Question for Comix/Graphic Novel Geeks

Have any of y'all read Y: The Last Man by Brian Vaughan and Pia Guerra? If so, what were your thoughts?

I have and I love the series. I think it's intelligently written and the characters are really wonderful.

Thank you for your input. I was committing the #1 sin of reading (that is, judging the books by their covers) and jumping to certain conclusions about it just being an exploitative "cheap thrill" kinda thing.

Well I wouldn't say that they didn't know that there would be people drawn to the story and may have utilized that for marketing it but it's actually well-written. I think you'll enjoy it.
