I will say this: I'm grateful to goddess_ironica, Frida, and all my other friends who refused to take me to Wal-Mart. I think I'm almost completely weaned off them now.

hmm. id like more details on this. i read in the new york times recently that wal mart has been trying to get into banking. but the government is scared shitless and keeps denying them. i wonder if this might be remotely related. interesting.

I never thought I'd say this, but if that's true about the gov't denying them repeatedly, then GO government!
Then again, we all know how much they hate competition in the global domination department...
